Peugeot 308 Video Review

The Peugeot 308 arrived in 2007 to first impressions of “Oh, that’s a re-work of the previous 307.”

But you didn’t need to look far for new ambition from Peugeot – the spacious interior was stunning.

The quality was rolled out to other new Peugeots – notably the executive class 308CC convertible and now the stunning RCZ coupe.

With a 25-kilo weight loss, better aerodynamics and a re-work of some of the best powertrains around, including legendary Peugeot diesels, this has made the 308 line-up more environmentally-friendly.

Partnered with a light six-speed manual gearbox this drives down fuel consumption and CO2 emissions – there’s even a road tax beating version wearing Peugeot’s ultra-green Oxygo sub-branding.

If this five-door hatch isn’t quite what you want, there’s more load-lugging capacity from the SW estate, or opentop fun from that CC we mentioned.

Look out for more Peugeot news as the lion goes for that big leap up the carmaking league.
