Insight Leading The Way With Charity Day

Insight HR and Management Consultancy have linked up with Kent Science Park to host a Charity Training Day between 10am and 4pm on the 13th December at Kent Science Park.

The subject of the training session will be Leadership Skills and all proceeds will be going to the Project 4 Africa charity. Attendees are being asked to make a minimum donation of £20 to attend the day.

The day will include sections on developing an understanding of the role of an effective manager, confidently managing conflict, leading by example and how to demonstrate the values and behaviours required in a leader.

Project 4 Africa undertake vital projects to help put important infrastructure in place in Africa. Having previously built a school they are now raising money to build a maternity unit in Malawi.

Tony Goodwin, HR Systems and Project Manager at Insight’s outsourced HR Department at AmicusHorizon commented:

“We’re really glad we could arrange this charity training day at the Kent Science Park. Leadership Skills are essential for all organisations, and the fact that attendees can get a full day’s training for as little as a £20 minimum donation is a win/win for everyone. Obviously we want to raise as much money as possible for Project 4 Africa, so hope that attendees will give what they can afford.”

Kent Science Park has given Insight HR a training room on the park free of charge for the day so that they can host the session. James Speck, Site Director commented:

“It’s wonderful that Insight have organised this charity training day. Project 4 Africa is a truly worthwhile cause and we’re glad that we could donate a room for the day to ensure everything runs smoothly. Kent Science Park is extremely pleased with the work our tenants are doing for charities such as this one.”
