Walk 8 miles for charity …and chocolate!

Entries are now open for one of Hospice in the Weald’s largest events, the Moonlight Walk on Friday 17th June. With a new route from the old Land Registry going through Tunbridge Wells and a later starting time of 10pm, this year is set to be the biggest Moonlight Walk ever!

Be part of this exciting night and walk 8 miles with friends and family and have free drinks and chocolate to celebrate at the end! Everyone will get a free T-shirt to do the walk in and there will be live music creating a real party atmosphere. Whilst some people are enjoying a fun night out with friends and others may be walking in memory of a loved one.

Last year there were over 700 walkers raising over £60,000 which goes towards the £4.5million the Hospice has to raise each and every year. By taking part you can help raise even more money this year for Hospice in the Weald who care for patients across a very wide age range, many are under 40. Entries cost £15 for adults and £5 for 11-17 year olds.

The event organiser, Ruth Fahie, comments “this is a really great night and always a party atmosphere with the prospect of chocolate at the end spurring people on! Places fill up fast so enter now and join us for a fun filled night.”
