Solley’s Real Dairy Ice Cream Reaches New Heights

Australian airline Qantas is treating its Business Class passengers to delicious ice cream from the Garden of England, made with 100 per cent Kentish milk.

Award-winning ice cream producers Solley’s Farms is now supplying Qantas flights out of the UK with flavours Ginger and Raspberry, made at the company’s Ripple, near Deal, plant.

Stephen Solley, managing director of Solley’s Farms, said: “It’s wonderful to think our ice cream is now being enjoyed across the world; and we’re thrilled to be working with such a fantastic global company as Qantas.

“Our ice cream is the result of generations of dairy production experience and we source 85 per cent of our base products from Kent and all of our milk from a Jersey herd on a neighbouring farm.

“It is this dedication to quality that our customers appreciate. As you can imagine, only the best is good enough for those travelling Business Class.”

Solley’s Farms real dairy ice cream has been sold in farm shops, cafés, delis, pubs, hotels, village shops and tourist attractions for nearly 30 years.

It is the largest independent ice cream maker in the county and the only Kent ice cream producer to receive the red tractor logo confirming its Farm Assured credentials. It is also SALSA approved (Safe And Local Supplier Approval).

The company’s 18 core flavours are complemented by an almost endless possibility of tastes with Solley’s Farms undertaking special commissions often requiring such diverse ranges as garlic, bread and butter pudding, Turkish Delight and chilli.
