Moonlight Walk is a Midnight Feast!

Local apple juice to start, Taywells ice cream in the middle of the walk and chocolate and hot chocolate at the end. Hospice in the Weald’s Moonlight Walk is shaping up to be a midnight feast for everyone taking part!

Hospice in the Weald have the support of local apple juice producer Arena Gold and Taywells ice cream to spur on the walkers at their largest fundraising event, their Moonlight Walk. Author Victoria Hislop will enjoy a glass of free award winning juice with all the walkers at the Land Registry building, before starting everyone on their way at 10pm. The route will take walkers around Tunbridge Wells, including a stop at the Hospice Camden Road shop where everyone will get a boost from free Taywells ice cream. As they return to the Land Registry everyone will be offered chocolate and hot chocolate to celebrate.

The Fundraising team , in Moonlight Walk t-shirts and pink fairy wings were out in force in Tunbridge Wells last week giving out entry forms. Rachel Holweger, Fundraising Director commented “We are very grateful to Arena Gold and Taywells for supporting the Moonlight Walk and a massive thank you also to Victoria Hislop for joining in on the night. We want to make this our biggest Moonlight Walk ever and need more people to sign up. This is a new route and we are expecting a great atmosphere with people really enjoying the walk at the same time as raising vital funds for our charity, rooted in this community’
