IBP Launches Service to Improve Health of South East Employees

A service to help employees of small and medium sized organisations in the South East to become healthier and therefore more productive, has been launched this month by Inspiring Business Performance (IBP), in partnership with vielife.

The online, interactive service enables employees to measure and monitor their sleep, nutrition, stress and physical activity levels. As well as to effectively manage medical issues, such as joint pain, and to make improvements as needed. It also provides an online library of medically validated articles offering practical advice on sound methods of improving health.

John Telfer, Managing Director of IBP, said: “Health improvements to people in the workplace improve motivation, team work, productivity and loyalty – and, of course, reduce absenteeism. Research undertaken demonstrates that this online service significantly improves overall business ‘health’ as well as the health of individual employees. The facts and figures speak for themselves with research from vielife showing that employees in good health are up to 20% more productive than those in poor health.

“IBP is excited to be working with vielife which has expertly provided global health and well-being solutions to some of the world’s largest organisations for over twenty years. And through IBP, this service is now available to all sizes of UK business.”
Mike Beason, Managing Director of vielife, said: “Our partnership with IBP is an exciting development for vielife. This strategic relationship now allows vielife to offer our health and well-being solution to a wider range of businesses. This is a great partnership for vielife and we are really looking forward to working with the IBP team.”
