A Fresh Look for Kent’s Coastal Hotel

fleur challis photography Hythe Imperial Hotel-3A Fresh Look for Kent’s Coastal Hotel This Grand Old Lady, otherwise known as the Mercure Imperial Hythe Hotel & Spa, was designed and built in 1880, offering a ray of sunshine serving the ultimate seaside destination hotel experience. She has now received an injection of R&R (restoration and refurbishment) to bring her back to life with the empathy and glamour she deserves.

Hosting this year’s successful Spring Wedding Fayre saw a dramatic unveiling of the stunning Ballroom in its new full glory. With a decadent and contemporary spin on a historic Victorian building, the elegant Ballroom has opened up opportunity and inspiration for special events ahead. The hotel front is receiving a facelift too, totalling this to a £500k renovation project – a wise investment for one of Kent’s great beach destinations. This exciting restoration creates the perfect welcome for visitors, combined with interior design bringing the hotel back to its grand heritage with compassion.

Emma Betteridge, Marketing Manager of Hythe’s infamous coastal hotel says “We are absolutely overwhelmed with the positive feedback describing our Hotel on Facebook as having ‘Stunning refurbishments, excellent service throughout and a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location’ We couldn’t ask for more.”
