Bluewater reaches record temperatures

Last Friday, sun worshippers, Gemma Bailey (from Welling) and Trudie Vernon ( from Rochester) were basking in the sunshine at Bluewater, Kent, as temperatures soared to 30 degrees !

As the South East made the most of the Indian summer, guests at Bluewater, enjoyed a spot of shopping and alfresco dining, followed by fun in the great outdoors.  Set in 50 acres of parkland, Bluewater’s guests spent time relaxing and enjoying the beach, lakes, pedalos, and Pirates Cove 36-hole Adventure Golf.

Commenting on the popularity of Bluewater as a late summer destination, Tim Hollands, Bluewater’s Assistant General Manager, said: “Bluewater has a very strong reputation as a unique day-out, and the great weather that we are currently enjoying adds to its appeal.  Guests, be they families enjoying time together at the weekend, or groups of friends taking a last minute day-off, are travelling to Bluewater because of the wide range of activities available.”

“We are unique in offering the best of both worlds: great shops for an inspiring day-out, with the opportunity to enjoy lunch outside, walk around the lakes, go boating, bask on a beach, or play a round of golf.”
